GENERAL MANAGER - MARK SAWALL
Mark Sawall was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Mark began his career at Sawall Health Foods at the age of eleven, helping to bottle vitamins. After playing baseball and obtaining his degree at Western Michigan University, Mark became the Fourth Generation of the Sawall Family to manage the Sawall Health Foods business. Sawall Health Foods is the oldest family owned natural foods market in the United States, opening in 1936. Mark has managed Sawall's through eight different expansions, including the 2016 addition of Amorino Gelato al Naturale, a Full service Deli, Organic Coffee Bar and the remodeling of the existing store. Café '36, with its all natural and organic seasonal menu is a new chapter in the legacy of Sawall's over 83 year history.
